Delete your account in the app

1Open Profile

Sign in to Discover and open the Me/Profile tab.

2Select Delete account

Under Account Settings, choose Delete account and review the notice.

3Confirm with your password

Enter your current password and tap Schedule deletion.

What happens immediately: your account is marked for deletion, you are signed out, and the account cannot be used to sign in while deletion is pending.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email either support address below. Use the subject Discover Account Deletion Request and include your full name and the email address associated with your account. Do not send your password.

We may request additional information to verify that the account belongs to you before changing or deleting it.

The 15-day waiting period

Deletion is scheduled for 15 days after a valid in-app or assisted request. During this period, the account remains inaccessible. If you submitted the request by mistake, contact either support address before the scheduled deletion date and ask for the account to be restored.

After the waiting period, the deletion process removes the participant account and app-specific records associated with it.

Information deleted or anonymized

Subject to verification and applicable retention requirements, the deletion process removes or anonymizes information such as:

  • Your Discover participant account, password hash, contact details, organization, and profile information.
  • Saved app registrations, favorites, exhibitor visits, quest answers, booth feedback, Q&A submissions, and password-reset records linked to the account.
  • Unattended or incomplete synchronized registration records when they are no longer needed.
  • Personal details in certain synchronized event records when those records must remain for operational history.

Information that may be retained

Some records may be retained or anonymized when reasonably necessary for official event reporting, checked-in attendance verification, certificate validation, audit, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, records-management obligations, or other legal requirements.

Retained records are limited to the information needed for those purposes and are not used to recreate your deleted mobile app account.

Effect of deletion

After deletion, you will no longer be able to use the deleted account to access saved registrations, exhibit progress, favorites, feedback history, certificates, claim status, or other personalized app services. A future account created with the same email address is treated as a new account unless records are lawfully matched for an event service.
