What is RSTW?

RSTW stands for Regional Science and Technology Week — an annual celebration mandated by RA 2067, led by DOST Region VII for Central Visayas every November to honor scientists and showcase local S&T achievements.

Is registration free?

Yes — RSTW 2026 is completely free and open to the public. Students, professionals, and the general public are all welcome. Pre-registration is encouraged to manage venue capacity.

What is the STOVERD Award?

STOVERD stands for Science and Technology Outstanding Volunteers, Enterprises, Researchers and Developers. These annual awards recognize outstanding contributions to S&T in Region VII across multiple categories.

Where will RSTW 2026 be held?

RSTW 2026 will be held at the Waterfront Hotel & Casino and the DOST VII PSTO Building on July 13–15, 2026. Follow our Facebook page or check this website for updates as the event approaches.

Everyone is welcome — students from elementary to college, teachers, researchers, government employees, industry professionals, and the general public. RSTW is a community celebration of science!
